1. Responsible Party
lingra UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG, Am Selder 53-55, 47906 Kempen, Germany. E-mail: grage@lingra.de, Phone: +49 2154 6064880. Further details can be found in the Imprint.
2. As little data as possible
This website does not use cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not integrate any third-party services: no analysis or statistics tools from external providers, no advertising, no fonts, scripts, or images from foreign servers, no social network buttons. The chosen language is only in the page address (?lang=…). Therefore, there is also no consent window (see Cookies).
3. Accessing the Website
When you access the page, our server processes the technically necessary details of your request: IP address, date and time, the address called up, as well as the language and identifier of your browser. These are required to deliver the page and protect the server from abuse (limiting requests per sender). The IP address is only held in the memory and discarded after no more than one minute; it does not enter the server logs.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation) – our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website.
The server is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, in a data center in Berlin. IONOS processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 DSGVO).
4. Visitor Count Without Cookies
We count how often our pages are read – without cookies, without entries in your browser, and without using a third-party service. There is nothing to consent to and nothing to refuse.
What we count, and what it contains
- Page views: one number per day, per page, and per language. It contains nothing that identifies you – no address, no time, no characteristic. Separately, the views by search engine robots, identified by their browser signature.
- Origin: if you followed a link, the name of the page it came from (e.g.,
www.example.com) – never the full address, as it may contain a search query. Without a link, it says “direct.” - Visitors per day: how many readers could be distinguished on a given day.
How the visitor count is determined without cookies
For the third number, a characteristic is needed to link two requests from the same reader. Without cookies, only what your request already contains remains: IP address and browser signature. From these, we calculate a hash value that cannot be reversed (SHA-256) and which additionally includes a secret that changes daily. Only this hash value is stored, never your IP address.
Since the secret changes daily, you are not recognizable over multiple days – not even to us: someone visiting on three days appears as three different hash values. This is intentional; recognition over days does not occur.
To be clear: as long as the secret of a day exists, this hash value is legally considered pseudonymized and not anonymous under data protection law. That is why it is mentioned here, and that is why it has an expiration date.
Storage Duration
- The hash values of visitors and the secret of the respective day: a few days (default seven, maximum 90), then they are deleted. With the secret, the possibility of assigning a hash value to an address disappears.
- Page views and origin: indefinitely. They are anonymous; no one is contained in them.
Purpose and Legal Basis
We want to know which pages are read and whether the blog posts are reaching their audience. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation) – our legitimate interest in a website that we can tailor to its readers. We consciously do not use a tool that tracks you across days or websites.
- Entrim – Region EU, Sitz Slovenia
- IONOS AI Hub – Region EU-DE, Sitz Montabaur
- Mistral AI – Region EU-FR
- Regolo (EU/Italy) – Region EU-IT
